Since the league has been growing consistently every year, everyone may not know all of the current members of our Board of Directors. Here we are going to share a little about ourselves and our lives outside the ultimate world.

I have served as president of SUDS Since December of 2007. My real job is as a Student Academic Services Specialist at St. Thomas More College at the U of S. Basically I am an academic advisor for students taking classes towards an Arts and Science Degree. If you ever need some advise drop me a line.

So other than making schedules, booking fields, and answering complaints on the message board, my life basically revolves around my children. And by children I mean all sorts of animals! (You know - the good kind of child!)
We have 4 Frilled Dragons, 7 Snakes, 3 Tarantulas, 2 Turtles, 1 Plated Lizard, 1 Freshwater tank, 4 Saltwater tanks (including a Peacock Mantis Shrimp and a pair of Harlequin Shrimp - Google them they are super awesome!), and our newest addition, a 7 month old Lab X named Odie (aka: Cabbage)! Finally a fuzzy animal - I have waited sooooo long! I worked at Petland for 7 Years and Just kept bringing animals home with me! Our house got too full so I had to quit working there! If you want a tour of our zoo, just let me know! I charge $50 per tour!
I am engaged to Scott Chapman to be married on October 22, 2009 in New Zealand! We are looking very forward to the trip as we get to share it with our parents and our siblings and a few other family members and friends. I am just starting a temporary Data Entry position at Saputo Foods and will be updating and maintaining the website for Bayside Corals (a local Saltwater store in Saskatoon).

I am currently a Chartered Accountant with Thomson Jaspar & Associates in Saskatoon, and going on my 3rd term as the VP of Finance with the SUDS Board of Directors. The major reason I joined the Board of Directors was to become involved and help SUDS and Ultimate grow in Saskatoon. The best way to improve things is to step up and be a part of the decision makers.
Ultimate: This is my 4th year of Ultimate , and currently play on the Foxy Mullets.

I love people, I love parties and I love solitude. This sport appeals to me because of the fun, friendly competition, the fabulous people and the tournaments! Oh, and the parties. The parties rock. Come to Gala.
Outside of Ulti I am an engineer. A field engineer. Although I have done some design work and also some sales work and have traveled a bit across the States with work. I love NY, SK and I love shoes.
If it's worth doing, then it's worth doing well.

Outside of playing Ultimate and working PT for SUDS, I work FT for the Saskatchewan Golf Association as their Member Services Coordinator. Just for fun, I also work PT for the Keg Steakhouse & Bar whenever I'm not busy at my other 2 jobs. When I'm not working, I like to curl, skate, go camping & hiking and I am going to take up lawn bowling next summer since there is a facility near my house (I'm old, i know :) I got engaged last summer so I am busy planning for a wedding this September. My New Year's Resolution is to try at least 5 things I've never done before: Snowboarding, Climbing, and Skydiving are just a few on my list!
